Mine is a little darker than the picture, but no less irredesent. A little short though, I may have to add a little chain to make it sit comfortablly around my neck. But then, I've never liked anything tight around my neck.

The necklace arrived as advertised, but in a transparent plastic packet in the box - not very nice as a present - good job I didn't ask for it to be sent direct!

My wife was so delighted not only with the necklace, but also with the bracelet which became available later,
she particularly remarked on the beautiful subltle colours which could be worn with almost anything. the clasps were easy to use,not the usual rather too tiny ones. !!

Cons: rubbish packaging, poor presentation, shells don't sit nicely
I was really disappointed when I recieved this! There is not enough slack on the string so the shells dont sit properly, they are too close together. The packaging consisted of a small clear plastic bag, I would expect better than this - I sent this back as would be embarrased to give this as a gift.

Wonderful colour - but....

Pros: colour and irridescence are beautiful
Cons: just won't lie flat around the neckline.
I love the colours of this necklace, but it just won't lie flat whatever I try to do. If it was possibly threaded slightly more loosely it may aleviate the problem. I do still wear and love it, but it is an annoyance that it won't lie correctly.

Really lovely necklace and much admired by friends. Only slight negative is that it could do with being a little more loosely strung as it doesn't always lie properly and some of the discs end up sticking up.
